   Christianity and Psychology in America
Summary:
   Explores the intersection of Christianity and psychology in 20th-century America, with particular emphasis on Pentecostalism and Charismatic Christianity; and on the concept of the "unconscious" in these traditions.

   At least one course in the history of Christianity and/or religion in America, and/or the history of psychology
Responsibilities for students?
   Undertake primary source research in sources such as popular religious periodicals; autobiographies; and theological treatises from the late-19th century through the present.
