Opportunity:
   Brain measurement in Human Computer Interaction
Summary:
   Using functional near infrared spectroscopy to acquire user's cognitive states while working with user interfaces. Apply findings to usability testing and to adaptive user interface design.

   Summer 2009
Prerequisities for students?
   Experience in Computer Science and Human Factors, or at least one of them.
Responsibilities for students?
   The summer scholar will help design an experiment to measure user's brain activity while working with an interface to evaluate various interface designs. The summer student will also help to run experiments, and will be included in the paper writing process if the experiment results are of interest.
