Opportunity:
   Fundamental Analysis of Complex Natural Product Biosynthesis
Summary:
   A fundamental study of the underlying mechanisms of gene expression and enzymatic activity will be conducted in the context of complex natural product biosynthesis. The goal will be to identify and improve the bottlenecks involved with heterologous biosynthesis of therapeutic biological compounds.
