Summary:
Can we engineer a toolset and set of activities that would allow people without strong math and science backgrounds to go through the engineering design process and learn basic design skills? The goal of this project will be to develop a set of activities and hardware that will help bring engineering to those that otherwise do not have the opportunity to design and construct an engineering product. We will work over the summer with high school, middle school, and elementary school students and assess the effectiveness of the tools in promoting engineering education.
